Birdies Mean Bucks for Charity

You can make a local charity a big bucks winner by making a pledge in the Birdies for Charity competition at the 2009 FBR Open! That’s because participating charities will receive every single penny of collected pledges.

Simply pledge one cent or more for every birdie that will be made by the PGA Tour players, Thursday through Sunday of the 2009 FBR Open. It’s estimated that between 1,300 and 1,800 birdies will be made.

Do Birdies Also Mean Prizes?

Grand Prize 2009 BuickYes! Your pledge gives you the chance to win the Grand Prize of a 2009 Buick (Courtesy of your Valley Buick Dealers). You’ll also be eligible for a random drawing for over 100 other great prizes! For every penny pledged you’ll be entered into the drawing. So, if you pledge five cents per birdie, your name will be entered five times.
