Birdies Mean Bucks for Charity
You can make a local charity a big bucks winner by making a pledge in the Birdies for Charity competition at the 2008 FBR Open! That’s because participating charities will receive every single penny of collected pledges.
Simply pledge one cent or more for every birdie that will be made by the PGA Tour players, Thursday through Sunday of the 2008 FBR Open. It’s estimated that between 1,300 and 1,800 birdies will be made.
Do Birdies Also Mean Prizes?
Yes! Your pledge gives you the chance to win the Grand Prize of a 2008 Buick (Courtesy of your Valley Buick Dealers). You’ll also be eligible for a random drawing for over 100 other great prizes! For every penny pledged you’ll be entered into the drawing. So, if you pledge five cents per birdie, your name will be entered five times.
In addition to the Grand Prize, you’ll also be eligible for other grand prizes, such as FBR Open golf shirts, FBR Open golf balls, FBR Open hats; assorted duffle bags; gift certificates to favorite Valley restaurants, resorts, or rounds of golf; and Harkins movie theatre tickets.
